Easy Video Converter 7.5

Easy Video Converter is a multi-format video converter. In terms of format support, I have to say that this converter is a bit limited. If you take a look at the supported formats, you will see that it can't convert files to RealVideo, MKV, OGG, or QuickTime. However, it can use those formats as source files and convert them to other formats.

Other than the aforementioned limitations in terms of format support, Easy Video Converter performs well with the formats that it does support. When you load a file, it will launch a sort of wizard asking you what type of conversion you want to make. There, you select the format, and the next step will be changing (or not) the conversion profile settings. Apparently, this app uses ffdshow to do all of its encoding, so you had better have that installed. There is a video preview window during the wizard. It doesn't preview the conversion process itself, it simply lets you view the video that you are loading.

This tool supports batch mode conversions. When you add a file, it will ask you if you want a single conversion or a batch operation. If you select batch, all the files that you select will be converted to the same format. If you want to convert to different formats, simply select many files one after the other from the single conversion window.
